Church Community
Welcome to HRC!

Welcome! We are a friendly, loving Christian congregation based in an historic church in Dutchess County, New York, with additional sites in our surrounding communities. We offer thought-provoking sermons, uplifting music, programs for all ages, and great get-personally-involved missions opportunities. We are a congregation whose mission is to know Christ and to make Him known, and we would love to have you visit us!

Our Sunday Services

We offer many different services that cater to many different styles of worship. We offer Sunday School and nursery care on Sunday mornings as well as a youth program.

The Bridge: Incarnational Evangelism

Incarnational Evangelism Launching Point

Every time I talk about “evangelism,” most people get a look in their eyes like I have asked them to walk a tight rope across Niagara Falls.  I am always told they know they need to and they know people who need the grace of Christ, but they need to learn how.  NOW IS YOUR CHANCE! Read more »

What’s the Buzz? March 15, 2010

There is lots going on this coming weekend. Hope you join us for one or all of these events!

Joys and Concerns

There was a long list of prayer requests in church this past Sunday. Pastor Holbrook asked us to prayer for our church leaders as they attend a Consistory Retreat this coming Saturday. Please also remember those in our congregation struggling with health issues: Gerry Enger, Jackie Hoffman, Mario Paolilli, Sue Mitchell, Sasha Steenson, Bill Weeks. Sandy Bredthauer asks for prayers for her father, Don Rizzo, who was just diagnosed with a brain tumor; and Dennis St. George asks for prayers for his mom, June Hyden, who recently lost her home when it was hit by lightening. We pray for traveling mercies for our two mission trips – one to Mississippi and one to the Dominican Republic. Also continue to pray for those in our Sunday bulletin’s prayer corner. Read more »
