Susan Nieves, head teacher of Bright Beginnings, was named a 2009 Champion of Child Care for her fourteen years of service. Her commitment to children was recognized at a dinner held at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel on April 16th. Congratulations, Susan, on this well-deserved honor!  In conjunction with this individual honor,  Bright Beginnings Preschool was named the 2009 Preschool of the Year by the council.
