When illness, death of a loved one, or other crisis occurs the Pastoral Care ministry of Hopewell Reformed Church provides spiritual, emotional, and financial care and support from the pastors and professional counselor on staff. Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one, gender-to-gender Christian lay caregiving ministry. Stephen Ministers, though not professional counselors or ordained ministers, are trained in the areas of listening and caring skills, who walk with an individual during a difficult time in their lives.

Counseling

Professional Counseling is available for adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Group-based counseling (grief support, divorce recovery, etc.) is also offered based on current need.

Extended Care

The Extended Care Team provides care and support for those individuals who are unable to join us for fellowship and worship. The team delivers meals, flowers, birthday parties ‘on wheels’ for those 90+, and friendly companions. They conduct sing-a-longs in nursing homes, and visitation to shut-ins.
