On October 23-25, you can bond, serve Christ, clean toilets, worship, cook, wash dishes, be tired, form friendships that will last a life time, pray, grow in your faith, help Lake Champion put on the “best weekend of someone else’s life.” We are looking for 25 highly motivated youth group PARENTS and high school people to serve the HRC Junior High kids and 300 of their best friends. Take some time for yourself, quiet your mind and stretch your muscles. We will be starting our Wednesday morning yoga class at 9:30am (notice the time change) on September 30th in the community room at HRC. No experience needed. Let your friends know. You do not need to be a member of the church to participate. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat. A suggested donation is $5 per class. All proceeds will help our youth ministry. The Tuesday night Christcare group writes to college students with cards of encouragement and just to let them know we are thinking about them.
