Also, please pray for travel mercies for Les Jackson as he heads to Florida for a much needed vacation! Tina Smith is working in Haiti; please continue to pray for her and her team as they minister to the people they meet there. Also continue to pray for those in our Sunday bulletin’s prayer corner. Sunday School Scoop – 3/4

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.’  Matthew 6:34

How true Jesus words are, we should not worry about tomorrow.  But it is hard to take one day at a time.  Jesus helps us put tomorrow in perspective in the verses before this advice.  He reminds us that since God cares for the birds of the air, He cares even more for us.  Then He tells us to seek first the kingdom of God.  If our focus is on the things of God and we remember that God cares for us, we will worry less about tomorrow.

Sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Kiosk in the Fellowship Hall. CONTACT Karen Gomba  for further information or visit www.mid-hudsonloveinc.org.

The Annual Meeting at 4:15 will include inspiring testimony and exciting challenges, and if you’ve been volunteering and have not been to a training session, or you’re open to becoming a Love INC volunteer, join us at 3:15 or 4:45 for one of our Volunteer Orientation sessions. CONTACT Karen Gomba for further information or visit www.mid-hudsonloveinc.org.

Lunch Coordinator:  - make sure that the work teams have lunch provided

Site Evaluator- do technical evaluations of work to be done on new site applications

Visitor Coordinator - make sure we have a visitor for each new site. CMP visitors are people who go to new sites to spend time with and listen to the resident.

The Bridge: 3 SHORTS

ONE:  It is cold and dark and Jill, Kyle and I are leaving the hospital after his last surgery.  We cross over the Sprain Brook Parkway and come to a long line of cars.  This never happens this late at night.  Horns start blaring.  Cars start swerving into the on coming lane.  It is our turn.  I pull around the lady sitting in her Audi frantically trying to start it.  My son just had major surgery and we needed to get home.  Jill hits me on the arm and tells me to turn around.  Long story short, I take up another lane as I move in beside the Audi, hook up to her battery and get enough juice for her to get out of the middle of the road so she can wait for her friend.  Even with hoods up, flashers blinking and me standing outside with a flashlight, cars blare their horns and give us dirty looks (Too dark to see any other jesters!).  Thirty minutes and we are on our way.
