Friday – Sunday, July 6-8, 2012

Join HRC as we serve and learn together at Heifer Project’s Overlook Farm. Overlook Farm is a demonstration farm complete with gardens and animals including water buffalo, yaks and traditional farm animals such as pigs, goats and more. Our weekend will include projects such as farm chores, and special projects, as well as educational times as we learn about alleviating hunger. One night we will stay in the global village at the farm which gives us a unique, first-hand look at the challenges surrounding hunger and poverty by experiencing a developing country!

  • Meals provided begin with 7PM dinner Friday and end with lunch on Sunday.
  • Stay in the bunk room (gender specific) or your own tent, camper or RV.
  • Cost is $60/person; or $150/family. Cost includes 2 nights lodging, learning sessions and 6 meals!

Don’t miss this FUN weekend of service, education, fellowship, worship! HRC has taken family and youth groups to Heifer since 1992. Please uphold our weekend in prayer. We look forward to serving together.

HRC FAMILY SERVICE WEEKEND

Memorial Day Weekend,

Friday – Monday, May 25-28, 2012

 

Join HRC as we help Sacandaga Bible Conference prepare for another summer of ministry! Our weekend will include projects such as painting, cleaning, repairs, gardening, wiring, roofing, special projects – and fun including campfires on the beach, worship, mini golf – something for everyone!

  • Wonderful meals provided begin with 7PM dinner Friday and end with lunch on Monday.
  • Stay in the beautiful Adirondack décor lodge, cabin, or your own tent, camper or RV.
  • Worship led by Lourdes Kleid and Lynette Jee.
  • Devotions led by Warren Jee and Kevin Phillips
  • Cost is $60/person; or $150/family. Cost includes 3 nights lodging (with linens) and 9 meals.
