HEALTHY LIVING

A new ChristCare group for women will be forming this spring centered around what it takes to make and sustain lifestyle changes that promote health. To move toward becoming all that God has intended, we will be looking not only at the foods we eat and physical exercise, but also on what keeps us from fully committing to change, and the role that Christian faith plays. We will be using 2 books to guide our discussions: Lose It For Life by Stephen Arterburn and Dr. Linda Mintle and Women, Food and God by Geneen Roth. As part of the group’s missional service, we would like to plan a speaker series for the congregation and the community that will address topics of cooking and nutrition, exercise, mental health, etc.. If you (and any of your friends who may not attend HRC) are interested, sign up on your Connection Card! CONTACT: Karen Gomba
