Our summer Sunday School adventures are concluding this Sunday and next with King Solomon. When God offered to give Solomon anything he asked for, young Solomon asked for wisdom to rule God’s people. God was pleased with Solomon’s request and blessed him with incredible wisdom and wealth. Solomon used his blessings to the glory of God. He lead the people of Israel wisely, kept peace with neighboring countries and built a temple for God. May our children learn early to use their gifts to the glory of God and the benefit of others!

Tymor Worship & Picnic - Join us on Sunday, September 12th at Tymor Park @ 10:00 for worship followed by a picnic. All of the HRC communities will be together to praise God and kick off the new program year. Please bring your own chairs, drinks and a salad ( if your last name starts with A-M) or a dessert (if your last name starts N-Z).
Fall Sunday School – Fall Sunday School starts on Sept 19th. We are looking forward to a new program year and are introducing a brand new curriculum for second through fifth grade!

Pre-K – Entering 4th Grade - Solomon
- Scripture – I Kings 5
- Story – Solomon Builds a Temple
- Purpose – Children will learn that God blesses us so we can be a blessing to others.
- Memory Verse – “Do not neglect your gift, which was given you..” I Timothy 4:14

Join us as we transform HRC into a Rainforest for one week! The fun starts on Monday, August 16 at 9:00 AM! About 140 children will be attending this week.
If you would like to participate by supplying snacks for the week, please sign up on the chart at the kiosk. (We need lots of snacks!)
Our mission project will support Lidia’s Kids in the Dominican Republic. The children will receive a mission envelope every day to place their donation in! We hope to be able to help lots of other children. Thank you in advance for your support!
Teens and adults are invited to help prepare for Vacation Bible School on Friday, July 9th anytime between 11:00 and 2:00 in the Community Room. CONTACT: Sheryle Silvern.
Children in pre-K through entering fourth grade are invited to Kidventure Summer Sunday School. Join us as we learn about Samuel, David and Solomon, create and play together. Kidventure will be available during the Gathering and Foundations services. CONTACT: Sheryle Silvern

SonQuest Rainforest VBS (Vacation Bible School) is August 16th-20th. Registration forms are available at the kiosk and on our church website. If you would like to volunteer to help at VBS please let us know via your Connection Card. CONTACT: Sheryle Silvern
Children in Pre-K through the 5th grade and their families are invited to the SS Regatta on June 5th at 4:00 in the Fellowship Hall and on the church lawns. We will build and race boats, play games, make crafts and enjoy a pot luck supper together. Please bring a dish to share. Dessert will be provided. The Sunday School children are helping Sawyer Goerg fill her suitcase with supplies for a medical clinic in the Dominican Republic. Here is what we are bringing in: May 9th – diapers, May 16th – children’s vitamins, May 23rd – Infant Tylenol, Children’s Motrin or Tylenol (generic brands are fine). Thank you for your support!
