It’s time to mark your calendars for the Family Promise Coordinator Preparation Workshop! If you are part of the coordinator team for your congregation, are the Volunteer Coordinator, or are interested in the position, this workshop is for you! The Coordinator Preparation Workshop is the first step in the training process for Host Congregations. It is designed to prepare coordinators for the opening of the Interfaith Hospitality Network with concrete actions they can take now. Come out and meet volunteers from other hosts, spend some time with two amazing representatives from the national headquarters and get excited about this awesome program!

Pastor Taylor said in his sermon of 11.20.2011 that, preliminarily, we would host a homeless family in our Youth house for one (1) week, four (4) times a year.  We would be giving these famililies a meal and a warm place to stay as they journey back to self sufficiency.
