• Become part of the new Caring Ministry Team: Serve directly with Pam Hansen, Coordinator of Care, working to link needs with resources. Create and develop new ways of bringing care to people in the church and community who are in need.
• Provide transportation to HRC shut-ins; offering rides to worship, shopping, and doctor appointments
• Technology Support: Assist with making copies of DVDs to provide to those unable to worship with us.
• Prayer Team: Join the Power Hour Prayer Team on Thursday evenings to pray for needs of our church, community, and the world.

The HRC Consistory will be presenting our 3 year vision in June. We are looking for people to help us design a logo, posters and produce some promotional material. If you have any experience or interest in marketing/communication, we would love to have you join us. We will be meeting on June 17 at 7 PM.  The number of attendees at the HRC Journey Odyssey services have increased. We are looking for people to commit to helping one Sunday a month – either the 2nd or 4th Sunday. We especially need help with our service/craft projects that are done immediately after the worship service. The Community Maintenance Program is looking for some volunteers to prepare lunches for the workers. This is a once a year commitment. You would make simple lunches for 8-20 people who spend a Saturday working on free home improvements for people who need some extra help and compassion. Periodically throughout the year, providing food at an event may be an important part of ensuring its success, and we’d love to have a pool of talent that we can tap into. It has been quite some time since we published a pictorial directory. Recently we were contacted by a representative from Lifetouch to see if we were interested in doing this again. We are looking for someone who will put together a team of people to work on this project. This job requires someone with organizational skills, as well as creativity. Responsibilities of the team include overseeing signups for pictures, soliciting and collecting candid pictures, formatting the candid pages, choosing a cover, seeing the project through to completion with follow-up as necessary.
