The Buzz is back!
Joys and Concerns Prayers this week go out to our Odyssey friends. Last week two of our Odyssey attendees died – Carl (who was part of the Odyssey choir) and Louise (who always came to Odyssey with a list of people she wanted prayers for). The people in their group homes are dealing with grief. They were able to come together this past Sunday and share their feelings with those in attendance, which was very helpful. Please continue to pray for all our Odyssey friends, but in particular those that lived with Carl and Louise. Next week we will be hosting over 100 children in our Vacation Bible School. Back from Michigan – all went well and I have many new family members! My mom and her new husband will be moving to Las Vegas this Saturday! Life is fun!

After a long battle with many physical challenges, Dawn Bell passed away peacefully this past Sunday. Norm, their children, and the rest of the family were by her side.
This coming Friday, June 4th, there will be calling hours from 9:00-11:00 a.m. here at the church. The funeral will follow immediately at 11:00 with a graveside service after the funeral here at the cemetary. Friends and Family are invited afterward to return to the church Fellowship Hall for a light luncheon.
Sandwiches, salads, and desserts are needed for the reception. If you are able to help, please call Lucia Eckhardt at 221-8597. If you would like to help set up at 8:00 a.m. or stay to help clean up afterward, that would be appreciated.
Please pray for Norm, their children Irene and Andy, and their families. Dawn was a very special part of HRC and will always be remembered.

Hi Everyone! I will be away next weekend, so there will not be a Buzz next week. My daughters, grandson and I are driving to Michigan to attend my mom’s wedding! We are looking forward to a short, but fun time with family!
Joys and Concerns
I ask for prayers for safety as we travel to Michigan, and also peace for my sisters as my mom and her new husband move to Las Vegas. On this Memorial Day we also pray for all those that have lost their lives defending our freedoms. We also ask prayers for the group of people that are part of the Haiti Goal Project, who left for Haiti last week. This group includes Mauricio and Silas LaBorde, Diana Volk and Tom Tuzzolino from HRC. Throughout the coming weeks, please remember the friends and family of Bill Weeks, whose memorial service took place this weekend; Scott Campbell, whose parents’ memorial service was this weekend; Vaughn Surprenant, whose mother, Katherine, died this past week.
