Believe it or not, this past Sunday was the first Sunday in Advent. I will let that sink in…besides what that says about shopping days, at HRC it means everything has been turned up a notch! We will be working ahead regarding bulletin information, so if you have an annoucement that must get in before Christmas, please send it to the church at hrchurch@hrcrca.org as soon as possible. In December, deadlines are non-existant. If you want to guarantee your annoucement gets in the bulletin, send it ASAP!!! Read more »

We give thanks with the Jackson family that Les’ surgery was successful and he is home recuperating. Les’ grandson, Steven Luhrs, is also home from his surgery. Also recuperating from surgery are Lisa Barach and Nate Mansfield. We are thankful for all these answered prayers. This coming week Jane Dambra will have knee surgery. Please pray for her speedy recovery! We also will be supporting Tom and Norma Jacobs as they mourn the loss of their daughter, Susan. The memorial service will be Tuesday, November 24 at 1:00 PM.
