Sunday School is the centerpiece of Children’s Ministry at Hopewell Reformed Church! We have classes for pre-kindergartners through fifth graders during our Beekman Road and HRCjourney services. In each class, we hear God’s Word, pray and share our lives. We seek to make Sunday School relevant, fun and relational through an interactive curriculum.
How Does it Work?
Children begin in worship with their families on Sunday morning. We believe that it is important for them to participate in worship and our pastors welcome the opportunity to connect with them during the Children’s Message. After the Children’s Message, the children are dismissed to the Fellowship Hall. They are met by their teachers and escorted to their classrooms. We ask that parents of pre-kindergartners escort their children to the Bright Beginnings classroom and sign them in. All parents are asked to pick their children up in their classroom after the service.
We welcome parents in the classroom any time! If you have any questions regarding our Sunday School program or if you’d be interested in volunteering, please contact our Children’s Ministries Coordinator, Sheryle Silvern by phone at 845-227-1965 or via e-mail at sheryle_silvern@yahoo.com.
