Serving Christ in Hopewell Junction, Dutchess County, the Americas and the World is central to who we are. We recognize that Jesus Christ did not want us to be “just another group,” but to bring his love to a world in need. The mission program at Hopewell Reformed Church is designed to provide opportunities for people to use their gifts of time, abilities and money to support Christian work at home and around the world as that person learns to be a “missionary” in his or her own back yard.
The Hopewell Reformed Church Mission Team
The purpose of the HRC Mission Team is to instruct, equip, inspire and motivate the congregation to support the national and foreign missionary outreach initiatives as outlined in Acts 1:8 (in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and the Ends of the earth). HRC’s Mission Team will provide vision, direction and leadership by means of praying, giving, sending and going. Check here for more details.
HRC wants to encourage its members to participate in mission work. Where appropriate, the church will provide some financial aid.
